Interpark NOL Payment Screen Frozen? 3 Fixes When You Can't Click the Payment Method (KBO Tickets)
🇰🇷 Read in Korean 인터파크 NOL 결제창 멈춤 해결법 (한국어, Naver) ›
If you're a foreign fan trying to buy KBO (Korean baseball) tickets, you have to use the Korean Interpark / NOL Ticket site — KBO seats aren’t sold on the global version. And on that Korean site there’s an annoying bug: after you start a card payment and cancel it, the payment-method screen comes back but nothing is clickable, even though the screen looks completely normal.
The short version: the card payment window (the PG payment module) stays on top of the page invisibly and “eats” your clicks. Once it’s frozen, you can’t even change the payment method on that screen, so on a PC you either remove the stuck window (keeps your seat) or refresh (may lose your seat). Next time, if you pick bank transfer or an easy-pay method first, you avoid the bug entirely.
Note: this happens on the Korean Interpark site (ticket.interpark.com / NOL) — the only place to buy KBO tickets. The global Interpark site does not sell KBO tickets and does not have this bug, so the screenshots below are the Korean UI you’ll actually see.
What's happening?
When you start a credit card payment and cancel midway, you’re sent back to the payment-method screen (신용카드 / Credit Card, KB Pay, 카카오페이 / Kakao Pay, 무통장입금 / Bank transfer…). The screen looks fine, but:
- The payment-method radio buttons won’t select
- The "다음단계" (Next step) button does nothing
- Even keyboard Tab won’t move the selection
There’s no error message and the page looks normal, which makes it extra confusing.
Why does it happen?
When you click card payment, a payment window (the PG payment module) covers the whole screen for card authentication. Normally this window closes when payment finishes — but if you cancel midway, the step that closes the window is sometimes skipped. An empty payment window then stays on the page invisibly, covering all the buttons underneath. You can see through it, but your clicks are caught by the invisible window.
That’s why refresh, Tab, and Next step all feel blocked.
One thing to know first: once the screen freezes, you can’t change the payment method on it — every click is blocked. So switching to bank transfer or easy-pay isn’t a fix after it freezes; it’s something you choose first to prevent it (see Fix 3). If it’s already frozen, use one of the two fixes below to revive the screen.
Fix 1. Remove the stuck payment window on a PC browser (keeps your seat)
On PC Chrome / Edge, you can remove just the stuck payment-window element without refreshing — so your seat hold stays. (This is a bit technical, so use it only when you’re in a hurry to keep a seat.)
- With the payment page focused, press F12 or Ctrl+Shift+J (Mac: Cmd+Option+J) to open the DevTools Console.
- The first time, you’ll see a warning: “Don’t paste code into the DevTools Console…”. Type allow pasting into the input line and press Enter to unlock pasting. (This is the browser’s safety warning against pasting unknown code.)
- Paste this one line and press Enter:
document.querySelectorAll('#inicisModalDiv,.inipay_modal,.inipay_modal-backdrop').forEach(e=>e.remove())
The empty window covering the screen disappears and the payment-method buttons become clickable again.
Caution: this doesn’t work on mobile, and if the payment window opens as a separate popup, you have to open the console in that popup and run it there. Only paste code you trust into the console. The line above just removes the leftover payment-window elements from the screen — it does not touch your card details or send anything anywhere.
Fix 2. Refresh (simple, but it gives up your held seat)
Refreshing (F5 / on mobile, pull to refresh) clears the stuck window. It’s the simplest option. The catch: refreshing gives up the seat you were holding for payment, and may send you back to seat selection to choose again. So it’s a fine choice as long as you’re not set on one specific good seat. If you must keep a particular seat, use Fix 1 first.
Fix 3. Pick your payment method first (prevention)
This freeze only happens when you cancel a card payment. So if you pick bank transfer (무통장입금 / virtual account) or easy-pay (KB Pay, Kakao Pay) from the start, you never go through the card payment window and never hit this bug. Bank transfer doesn’t open a payment window at all — it just issues a deposit account number.
One catch: for very high-demand games (All-Star Game, Korean Series), bank transfer is sometimes disabled to prevent scalping. In that case you can’t choose bank transfer, so easy-pay is the alternative.
And to repeat the key point: once you’ve started a card payment and the screen freezes, you can’t change the payment method there — all clicks are blocked. So changing the method is prevention you do up front, not a fix after the freeze. If it’s already frozen, revive the screen with Fix 1 or 2 first.
Still stuck?
- Try a different browser or the NOL Ticket app. The payment module behaves a little differently across environments.
- On an already-frozen screen you can’t change the payment method, so on PC use Fix 1 (console) to clear the window, then continue paying.
- If you’re not sure whether the payment went through and only the screen froze, don’t keep retrying — check your booking / payment history first. That prevents a double charge.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
- The screen looks fine — why can't I click anything?
- A canceled card payment window stays on top of the page invisibly and intercepts your clicks. Even though you can see through it, there’s a transparent layer on top.
- Will refreshing release my seat?
- Yes — refreshing gives up the seat you were holding for payment, and may send you back to seat selection to pick again. If you need to keep a specific good seat, use Fix 1 (remove just the window via console) instead of refreshing.
- Can I use the console method on mobile?
- The console is hard to use on mobile apps/browsers. On mobile, it’s faster to change the payment method or retry in the app.
- My card payment keeps getting canceled or failing.
- Card payments tend to fail right at peak booking times. Paying by bank transfer from the start avoids this. But for high-demand games (All-Star, Korean Series) bank transfer may be disabled, so easy-pay is the alternative. And once the screen freezes after a card attempt, you can’t change the method there — revive the screen with Fix 1 first.
